Living the Wildlife...

While in Seward, Kathleen and I were very lucky to experience firsthand some Alaskan wildlife...in the Alaska Sealife Center. But let me tell you, it was pretty sweet! This place is also a rehabilitation center, so it was definitely warm and fuzzy seeing the animals getting some help! Anyway, here are some of the creatures we saw!

Dinner!!! Yum! Jen Sherbine Carlson, I know you want this. 

Ahhh buddy, you got something on your lip. You might want to get that checked out and vacate that tank. It is clearly scandalous. 

New best friend! 

See! He was looking for us and so was his buddy, which the video definitely shows as well as our enthusiasm...not to be mistaken with delusional tendencies.  

Just popping up to say don't leave! Kathleen and I were his favorite! :)

And then there was this creature. Talking on the phone while petting a starfish. Honestly, can't even enjoy a good pet without the cell phone. I am surprised the phone made it out of the area alive aka not dropped in the water. 

We had a grand time at this place. We were able to play with all sorts of goodies. We even took some pictures for our dear friend Leslie Bare. 

Dream big Les. You know you love this. And as a side note, remember the tree with like 20 of these guys in it? Well these things are not light, I was straight struggling! All I can say is I have a new appreciation for that tree. It must be buff, I mean what stature. I guess it is what they say...all in the name of beauty. 

Also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the chump Bryan Lykkebak, who celebrated his bday 8/26. I hope the whiskey treated you right.
